Rivo Krew Pty Ltd ("Rivo Krew", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains how we handle personal information collected through our website, including our worker registration form, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you register to join our workforce, we collect:
- your full legal name, phone number, email address and (optionally) nationality;
- your suburb, state and postcode;
- your current employment status and occupation;
- the types of work, work arrangements and availability you're interested in;
- your visa type or residency status and visa expiry date (where applicable); and
- a record of the consents you give, including the date, time and version of this information.
When a business submits an enquiry, we collect the contact person's name, company, email, phone number and the details of their workforce requirements.
Why we collect it
- to assess your eligibility and right to work in Australia;
- to match you with suitable work opportunities with our clients;
- to contact you about work opportunities, your registration and relevant workforce matters;
- to manage our relationship with you and keep accurate records; and
- to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including labour hire licensing requirements.
If you don't provide the required information, we may not be able to consider you for work.
Who we may share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share relevant information with:
- clients (host businesses) when considering you for a placement;
- service providers who help us operate, such as website hosting, email and IT providers;
- government agencies where required or authorised by law, such as for work-rights (VEVO) checks; and
- our professional advisers, where necessary.
Some of our service providers may store data outside Australia. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected.
How we store and protect it
Your information is stored in a secure database with restricted, password-protected access for authorised Rivo Krew staff only. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
Website analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how our website is used (for example, how many people start and complete the registration form). These tools may use cookies and collect technical information such as your browser type and pages visited. We do not send your name, email or phone number to analytics providers.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to stop contacting you about work opportunities at any time.
- You can ask us to remove your registration, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations.

Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
